Panuska College of Professional Studies

The Panuska College of Professional Studies (PCPS) is an academic motivating force to the pride, passion and promise of Scranton’s Jesuit, Catholic tradition and mission. Our undergraduate and graduate students choose the professional programs housed in PCPS because of its celebrated liberal arts tradition and commitment to hands-on, original research and our academic service learning component to each academic program. PCPS students know they'll work hard and that their uncommon efforts will be personally, academically and professionally rewarding.

The College offers a range of majors in health, education and human services. All of the programs seek to prepare students to apply theories and concepts in the very practical world of their chosen profession. Students learn by experience. PCPS students receive exemplary preparation for the profession of their choice and a solid education in the liberal arts and sciences.

The Faculty
The members of the faculty of PCPS share a common background as practitioners, educators and scholars. Their practical experience enriches classroom instruction and is one of the driving forces behind the College.
